Renovation & Remodel Design is for you if you are planning a construction project, but don't have the capacity to design, shop, or manage the details of a project. Lauren Cabral Interiors takes care of all design elements from start to finish. We research, create a design plan, and collaborate with your contractors and trades to manage your construction project from concept through to completion. The process is similar to Full Service Design, but we take it one step further by partnering with your contractors and trades, as well as weekly site visits to ensure the design is coming to life as planned. Our streamlined process is ideal for clients who have limited time to commit to thinking about design and project management.​

Our design is charged as a flat-fee with pricing based on room size and complexity of the project.

01/ RESEARCH & AGREEMENT
QUESTIONNAIRE
INITIAL MEETING
QUOTE & AGREEMENT
After you contact us about your design project, we will send you a questionnaire to help us understand what space you're looking to design and what your desired aesthetic is for the space, as well as your overall budget. Please provide as much detail as possible, including a link to your Pinterest board(s) so we can truly understand your style.
During this meeting, virtual or in-person, we will learn about your existing space, what's working and what's not, and take a deeper dive into your preferences for the space in terms of both function and overall look. We will discuss the scope of the project in depth.
Based on the information gathered, we will provide a flat-fee quote for our design fee. Upon execution of the Client Agreement, we take a deposit on the design fee to kick off the project.
02/ CONCEPTUAL DESIGN

PRESENTATION
We visit your home to take detailed measurements and before photos.
We design the overall vision we see for your space to confirm the aesthetic direction, ideal layout, and budget plan through our Furnishings & Finishes Investment Estimate.
A brief virtual presentation to walk you through our Conceptual Design board, floor plan, and budget plan to ensure we're on the same page. Second installment of design fee is due prior to presentation.
03/ DETAILED DESIGN & DECOR

DRAWINGS
PRESENTATION
We source finishes, furnishings, and fixtures and create a detailed proposal for each item that aligns with the approved Furnishings & Finishes Investment Estimate.
We create detailed CAD drawings of floor plans, key elevations, lighting plans, and design details, such as cabinetry, millwork, and tile plans.
Present all finishes, furnishings, and fixtures selections, as well as floor plans, key elevations, lighting plans, and detail design drawings on Detailed Design boards.
04/ PURCHASING & CONSTRUCTION

CONSTRUCTION
Upon approval of Detailed Design and payment of final Furnishings & Finishes Investment, we place orders for all products on your behalf. We track deliveries to job site or receiving warehouse and resolve any deficiencies that arise.
We provide all produced drawings to your contractors and trades for design direction.
Once construction begins, we will visit the site weekly to ensure the design is coming to life as planned.
06/ DECOR INSTALLATION & PROJECT WRAP-UP

When construction is complete, we oversee and coordinate the final delivery and installation of furnishings and accessories for a complete transformation of your space. We will work through a punch list of any outstanding design items to be resolved.
We style and photograph your beautiful new space.
